 Company history
Hello, My name is Jeff Ferdinandson, I began working with trees straight from high school back in 1982. I planned on getting some real world experience and a taste of hard, outside, chalenging work prior to going to college. Now over 26 years later I find myself still very much interested and involved in the work and practice of Arboriculture. I have found tree care to be a very rewarding career, full of excitement, travel and knowing I have always made and honest buck doing honest work. I have worked in some of the most beautiful and affluent areas of California from Santa Barbara to Marin, San Francisco, Sonoma County and now Shasta County. I still play a key role in every job so as to make sure things are done right. I have found that maintaining a high standard in tree care practices is vital in all aspects of success in this buisness. I maintain proper insurance and bonds from Workers Compensation for my hard working employees to Liability Insurance to protect my clients and their assets, and California Contractors Insurance bonds to ensure every job is legal and will be completed as planned.

'I called Jeff Ferdinandson to come out and trim some trees.  I was so impressed with the quality of his work, his attitude and his crew that I had him come back to finish the job.  You won't believe how much better your property will look.  He does GREAT work."

"I recently had a problem with a large tree in my back yard. I contacted Tri-County TreeService, and they came right out and took care of the problem. Jeff actually had personal oversight of my project. The crew was very professional and did the work in a timely manner. I couldn’t be more pleased and recommend them to anyone who needs an honest, dependable tree service."

Sincerely,
-- Kenny Levin

"We had a great experience working with Tri-County Arborists. Jeff is honest, trustworthy and extremely experienced.  He evaluated our property and spent a great deal of time discussing his recommendations and our options.  We had a long stretch of trees along the left side of our property that needed pruning.  We also had extremely large branches touching our roof.  This prevented sunlight from getting through and posed a threat of damaging our shingles and/or causing mold on our roof.  We also were scared that our house would be damaged if one of the trees fell down.  Kenny worked an entire day pruning back the trees.  We were extremely pleased with the results and his professionalism.

Shortly after Tri-Countyworked on our property, a large tree along our neighbor’s property split in half and fell down after a storm.  Our trees weathered the storm and we feel like the preventive measures we took in pruning back our trees, per Kenny’s recommendation, was a smart decision and ultimately saved our trees and house from damage.  I would recommend them to anyone."

"Thank you for taking down the remainder of my very large tree in my front yard that the previous tree trimmers killed.

It is so very sad to know I lost my great beautiful shade tree that protected my home from the hot summer days. There was a very large branch that reached over my home and I had someone come out to take cut the branch away from the house. The so called tree trimmer convinced me to top the tree and he said in just a couple years it would come back beautiful yet without the branches being a problem to my home. I paid a good amount of money to do so and after 3 years I finely realized that from topping my tree killed it. This was very sad for me for I am one of the biggest nature freaks you could meet, along with enjoying the shade from such a beautiful tree and saving money on electric in the summer months.

At this point the only thing to do was take it down, and with your help with a reasonable price I went for it.

Thank you for your prompt and personal  service with a good Ole' boy smile."

Thanks,
-- Gail Abernathy
